National Day of Awareness of MMIR Rally

Come out and join us to bring awareness to the over 9000 Murdered and Missing Indigenous Relatives.
We will meet near the bandshell in Acacia Park, stop briefly at City Hall the to the Take Back the Power mural.

We may be making a stop to honor a Relative that was murdered downtown. Details coming soon.

Please wear red, ribbon skirts, & bring a hand drum if you have one.
Call out to all jingle dress dancers! We humbly request that you come dance for healing for the families impacted.

Absolutely everyone is welcome but Indigenous people will lead the march.

The City of Colorado Springs has numerous Boards, Commissions & Committees for the citizens to serve on to provide insight on topics from art, housing, transportation, parks, police accountability and infrastructure planning.

Ayana Jamnia García, the Boards and Commissions Program Administrator in the City Council and Legislative Services Department, will present to our community about how we can best ensure Native representation in these citywide leadership positions.

Colorado Legal Services and Haseya have partnered to host a walk-in legal resource night aimed at helping Native Americans in need of legal services. The legal resource night will be held at the Haseya office. Equal Justice Works Fellow and attorney Isabel Dufford (Choctaw Citizen) will be available to help with resource referral, understanding the legal process, and how to proceed as a pro-se party. No attorney-client relationship is established.
Please bring any documents in an organized manner.

DIHFS Free Flu Clinic

DIHFS Free Flu Clinic

Haseya Advocate Program has partnered with the Denver Indian Health and Family Services to offer a free flu vaccine clinic at our office in Colorado Springs! They will also have a resource table set up to learn more about the other service their clinic offers.

This event is open for Natives of all ages! Please bring your tribal ID or a state ID with CDIB.

Each family will go home with a bag of Native sourced food and a coupon for free fry bread bites at Carefree Bar & Grill, the only Native owned restaurant in the Springs.
